Amy Maxwell is a paralegal and senior electronic discovery specialist in the Dallas, Texas office of Applied Discovery, a division of LexisNexis. As one of Applied Discovery’s experienced discovery consultants, Ms. Maxwell consults with clients on a wide variety of discovery matters including data gathering techniques, maintaining proper chain of custody, identifying potential sources of relevant electronically stored information, negotiating scope limitations and producing documents to requesting parties. Ms. Maxwell works closely with her clients to develop cost saving strategies concerning collection, processing and review of email and other electronic data.
Ms. Maxwell has a broad background in an assortment of complex e-discovery issues with particular expertise in class actions, energy, patent and securities matters. She has worked on over 100 matters involving with clients from the largest corporations and law firms in the nation.
Before joining Applied Discovery, Ms. Maxwell was a paralegal at one of Dallas’ top law firms where she worked on several large litigation matters overseeing the e-discovery process. She most recently served as an e-discovery specialist for one of the industry’s first concept search providers.
Ms. Maxwell received her B.S in Psychology from the University of North Texas. She is also a certified paralegal. Ms. Maxwell is a frequent speaker on the topic of electronic discovery.
