Larry W. Conner, Esq. (Bud) |Senior Electronic Discovery Specialist

Bud Conner is an attorney and senior electronic discovery specialist in the Chicago and Cleveland offices of Applied Discovery, a division of LexisNexis. In this role, he works with law firms and corporations throughout the Great Lakes region counseling clients in all aspects of the discovery of electronically stored information including preservation, collection, review, and production. Mr. Conner provides special insight in the early formulation of strategies designed to minimize business disruption and make each step in the discovery process as cost-effective as possible, mitigating the risks of unnecessary and/or redundant efforts by the review team.

Mr. Conner has extensive experience in a variety of complex e-discovery issues, with particular expertise in intellectual property litigation.

Prior to joining Applied Discovery, Mr. Conner practiced as an IP litigator for eight years, regularly exposing him to the challenges of undertaking and coordinating large-scale discovery of multiple functional units from within an organization, and even across multiple organizations. As a licensed patent attorney, he has an in-depth understanding of the mechanics of developing intellectual property and securing the attendant rights that are implicated in the discovery process.

Mr. Conner is a frequent speaker on the topic of electronic discovery and document review. He has spoken at various Bar Association seminars throughout the Midwest, and he regularly conducts Continuing Legal Education programs at the request of his clients.
