Gregory Cook
|Data Collection Analyst
Gregory Cook is a Data Collection Analyst in the Consulting Services Group at Applied Discovery. In this role, Mr. Cook is responsible for assessing client electronic information assets to determine where evidence may reside in order to create and execute a data gathering plan. Additionally, Mr. Cook is responsible for communicating recommendations to legal and technical individuals as well as with Applied Discovery's client services and production team members in order to ensure client requirements are met.
Mr. Cook has extensive experience in conducting forensic analysis and data collection components of large-scale litigation, corporate fraud and white-collar crime investigations. Over the past several years he has provided "field" forensic and electronic discovery services on projects that included stock options backdating, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, securities litigation, theft of intellectual property, off-label pharmaceutical marketing, human resources and white-collar crime related issues.
Prior to joining Applied Discovery's Consulting group, Mr. Cook worked as the Forensic Technology Services Manager at KPMG in San Francisco and has nearly nine years of experience in the "Big Four" accounting firm environment. Mr. Cook graduated from the University of California at Davis with a B.A. in International Relations. His continuing education includes training in many of the industry-wide forensic and electronic discovery tools.
