Jennifer Coyne is an attorney and senior electronic discovery specialist in the Philadelphia office of Applied Discovery, a division of LexisNexis. Since 2004, Ms. Liebman has been counseling corporations and their in-house and outside legal teams on a wide range of discovery matters, including records management and preservation obligations, data gathering techniques, maintaining proper chain of custody, document review strategies and production of data to outside parties.
Mrs. Coyne has extensive experience with a broad range of discovery matters with a focus in life sciences industry. She works with clients from many global pharmaceutical corporations to help develop specific strategies that address the needs and interests of pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.
Before joining Applied Discovery, Mrs. Coyne was a litigator with a boutique litigation firm in Philadelphia where she concentrated her practice in labor and employment litigation and handled all aspects of litigation discovery and trial.
Mrs. Coyne is a frequent author and speaker on the topic of electronic discovery and records management. She recently served as Chairperson for the IQPC event "E-Discovery for the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Devices Industries," which focused on benchmarking the e-discovery & records retention processes and building a comprehensive e-discovery team. She has served as Chairperson and Panelist in several other e-discovery related conferences, in Philadelphia and around the Country.
Mrs. Coyne received her undergraduate degree with Honors from The Pennsylvania State University, her juris doctor cum laude from Temple University School of Law, and is admitted to practice before the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey and the Third Circuit.

Multi-district products liability class action for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company in which more than 2 terabytes of data from more than 100 custodians was collected domestically and overseas, processed, reviewed and produced within the tight timeframes set by the Court.

Patent dispute and related government inquiry for large multi-national manufacturing company in which data from several key custodians was collected, processed, and then filtered and re-purposed to multiple review sets. Prior work product was retained and transferred as needed. Client realized substantial cost savings and efficiencies in these matters.
