Jamie Brigman is the director of product management and technical strategy at Applied Discovery, a division of LexisNexis. In this role, Mr. Brigman focuses on evolving Applied Discovery solutions in ways that most effectively benefit corporations and law firms in the implementation of effective electronic discovery strategies.

Mr. Brigman has extensive experience on a wide variety of e-discovery issues from both the law firm practice and provider perspectives. His previous experience within the Applied Discovery organization includes working in the Applied Discovery Client Solutions Group helping clients manage complex document review and production projects and working as production operations manager--fulfilling the company’s commitment to provide timely and accurate document productions.

Prior to joining Applied Discovery, Mr. Brigman was an attorney with Riddell Williams in Seattle, where he specialized in litigation at the trial and appellate level focusing on complex litigation, Internet and technology consulting, intellectual property litigation, and class action defense. He also served as an attorney at the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund (now Earthjustice Legal Defense Fund), where he specialized in environmental class action litigation at the administrative, trial, and appellate level focusing on water law, resource conservation, Florida public trust law, natural resource policy, and the ongoing Florida Everglades Restoration Project. Mr. Brigman also worked at the Florida Supreme Court as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Major B. Harding.

Mr. Brigman is a member the Florida Bar, and was also admitted to practice before the US District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, the Supreme Court of Washington, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Florida Supreme Court.

Mr. Brigman earned his B.A. in English Literature and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from University of Florida College of Law with honors. He is active in the EDRM metrics and search working groups and in The Sedona Conference working group 1 (Electronic Document Retention and Production), He is a frequent speaker on e-discovery strategy and the technical processes for effectuating large-scale e-discovery reviews.
