According to The 451 Group's "E-Discovery and E-Disclosure 2010 User Survey," an end user survey of over 150 participants conducted to understand e-discovery usage and trends, 22% of respondents using outside e-discovery products and services selected Applied Discovery as the provider they used. Applied Discovery achieved the highest ranking of any full service provider and the second highest overall ranking in the entire survey. Additionally, of the 55% of respondents planning to purchase e-discovery software or services in the next twelve months, Applied Discovery was listed as a top performer with 8% of survey end users planning to purchase Applied Discovery services.

According to the "3rd Annual eDiscovery Survey of Illinois Lawyers," an end user survey of 185 legal professionals conducted to understand their level of exposure and experience with electronic discovery vendors and products, 36% of respondents answering the question "Have you ever hired an electronic discovery consultant or firm?" selected Applied Discovery. This was the highest ranking of any electronic discovery firm—a ranking that included mentions of other industry stalwarts including Kroll Ontrack, FTI Consulting, Huron Consulting, Clearwell Systems, and Stratify (Iron Mountain).
